tours to the southern islands until Hin Daeng and Hin Muang. On my Cuba side are some pictures from the south of Cuba to see, followed by a report about diving in the Bali Sea, Indonesia.
In time this homepage was extended with The Diver's List, Scuba - Forum, free classified adds for divers, Scuba Screen Saver for download, some games and more.........

Whalesharks are the greatest fishes of the world. They come up to a lenght until 13m, a part of literature means they will be 18m long. Whalesharks are harmless planktoneaters. The whaleshark seeing above was about 5 or 6 m long. He was a very curious dive partner and during the whole dive a nice fellow. Unfortunately there is no whale shark - or manta ray guarantee, you will need a piece of luck to meet one or several of these giants.

On account of the two dives during this rescue training in a flooded gravel pit I decided, to enjoy from now on only still the warm water diving in the highly transparent water of the Tropics or Subtropics. My first steps in underwater photography I did by rent a uw camera from the dive school. It was a sea&sea motormarine. Since February 1995 I have my own , a sea&sea motormarine II , with 35 mm lens , without external strobe. Since 1994 I dive on Similan / Surin cruises , since 1996 on dive tours to the southern islands , until Hin Daeng and Hin Muang , too.
In the Andaman sea are a lot of difficult dive destinations . In the near of Phuket the deep of the dives are in average from 10m until 30m , on a Similan / Surin cruise (until Richelioeu Rock)you will diving in average between 25m and 40m deep, the same at Hin Daeng and Hin Muang. On the cruises to Similan and to Hin Daeng and Hin Muang you will make non limit diving. You may dive up to five times per day , three " day dives " , one " sunset dive " and one " night dive". Limits are: not longer than 60 minutes per dive and not deeper then 40 m. The diving computer is obligation (can also be rent), "Diver below" buoys are used for safety. In Thailand the pleasant "full ship service" is usual, thus fetching the divers at the point coming back to surface. |
